The Healing Power of Sound

I am not a scientist, I am not a musician, I cannot sing, I cannot dance, but there are people in this world gifted with the abilities to do these things. Today a Ted Talks video was brought to my attention that involves the following: music, science, and cancer.

This research is mind boggling and ground breaking!

My buddy, who is of Indian (India) decent got cancer of the lymph nodes at the age of 28 years old. He has lived in the US his entire life. What blew me away when I did some research is that this type of cancer really does not exist in India. What gives?

The American people believe in the easiest and fastest way out. Give me a pill that will cure me, but this video shows that the power to heal is right in front of use. Maybe there is an alternative to the synthetic “antidotes” we are told to believe is at the cutting edge of medicine. Maybe we should begin to think about what our environment and lifestyle brings upon use…..

just a view thoughts, maybe someone feels the same. i just know that it makes me feel better to be able to communicate my thoughts beyond my own mind.

song of the new earth – expanding consciousness

Today, I received a link from my wonderful aunt. Some would call her a hippie/gypsy, but I would say that she is her own being and seeks to fulfill the meaning of life. She has helped me to explore new ways of thinking, and expanding from the traditions of western culture. I have myself struggle with what western society has laid out for all of us as the path to success and happiness….to go school, get good grades, go to college, get a good job, buy a house, get married, raise a family. Although this is still the path i am and want to follow i question especially the go to school and get a good job. I feel that we have become slaves to the system, there are stats that show that up to 80% of college graduates are not getting jobs and are moving home, or if they are lucky enough to find a job usually it is not what society has “promised” them.

Anyways, sorry for the ranting. I wanted to provide a link about expanding ones consciousness. I do not know entirely what to think about this but I definitely say that it has made me think, and question. Civilized society is such and young thing and I wonder if we have lost some of the true meaning of life. Enjoy the video. It is quite long and is only free to few until tomorrow. Link below:

Swiss Gold Initiative & Fiat Currency

At the end of the month the Swiss people will vote on to back there Swiss Franc with gold. The initiative would not back the currency 100% but is a good step back to the sound money principles that have been absent since Nixon took the US off the gold standard in 1971.

The article which can be viewed by clicking on the hyperlink above, allows for people to donate to the cause. As the article states people were donating using paypal however, for some reason paypal decided to block the donations….weird I know
